ABOUT C LYMAN FITNESS LLC

Owner

Christian is a NASM-Certified Personal Trainer and Sports Nutrition Coach and the owner, founder, and sole proprietor of C Lyman Fitness LLC. Christian graduated from the University of Mary Washington and was a member of the Varsity Cross Country team and the Track and Field teams as a former decathlete in training. Now, on his own time, Christian enjoys lifting weights, long walks, running races, hiking, rock climbing, and playing basketball. Christian primarily trains for his overall health, but he enjoys training for athletic-specific activities too. If you are hoping to improve in these aspects in your life, Christian is more than willing to help you out!

Programs I Offer

I provide professional, certified fitness training programs that accomodate individual clients' needs in order to help them obtain their health and fitness goals. While I currently work with most of my clients in one-on-one settings, I do also plan on offering partner trainng plans as well. Below is a list of the services that I offer within these sessions. During our initial consultation, we will decide which service(s) fit your needs best.

Strength Training

Feel Stronger & More Efficient

Strength training can provide several benefits such as improved functional ability, hormonal health, and a reduced risk of injury. Whether it's getting you to do your first pull-up, improve your number of consecutive push-ups, be able to lift heavier weights, or just maintain your strength, I am here to help! From these sessions, you will learn how to perform these exercises with proper form as well as have the assistance of a spotter and motivator!

Cardiovascular Training

Get Your Heart Rate Up!

As many people know, having a robust cardiovascular system is one of the most important determinants that ensures several long-term health benefits including but not limited to weight loss, a healthier heart, and an improved mood. Depending on what your preferences are, I provide high intensity interval training (HIIT) and low intensity steady state (LISS) training programs, as there are benefits from both.

Athletic-Based Training

Train Yourself for Athleticism, or Train Yourself for Life!

These programs are designed to help people improve athleticism and/or athletic skills, whether you want to improve your speed, power, agility, quickness, coordination, balance, or sport specific abilities. However, these programs are not only limited to athletes or clients looking to improve their skills in a specific sport. They can also help the ordinary person become more functional in their everyday lives!

NOTE: Any classes involving powerlifting movements (power cleans, jerks, snatches, etc.) are reserved for those who are 18+ or who have finished developing physically.
